Quoridor is a two-player abstract strategy game played on a 9×9 board, designed by Mirko Marchesi and published by Gigamic in 1997. Each player has a single pawn that starts on opposite sides. The goal is simple: be the first to walk your pawn to the row on the far side of the board.

On your turn you do one of two things:
Walls can't completely seal off a player's only route to their goal - there must always be a path. If your opponent is right in front of you, you can jump over them. First pawn to the opposite side wins.
After any game you can open an engine review to step through every move and see where it was won or lost.

Yes. With a free account you play ranked games on a 3-minute clock, earn an ELO rating, and climb seven ranks from Scout to Grand Architect. There are also tournaments, and some pay cash prizes.
Yes. After any game, the engine review grades every move as Great, Best, Good, Inaccurate or Terrible and gives each player an accuracy score, much like a chess game review.
Yes. Puzzles are real endgame positions with exactly one winning move, each proven by an exact solver, and there is a Daily Challenge. Sign in to get a puzzle rating.
